  Dear Supportive Friends and Partners,

It’s another day during this ongoing pandemic. You’re caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia disorder. For the most part, you are limited to staying home together. It could feel like you are left alone to handle increased challenges affecting both of you - especially isolation.
                         What do you do?

This is a daily situation for hundreds of Long Island families. And for many of them, the answer is ADRC. We continue to provide a vital connection to diagnosed individuals and their loved ones. Whether it’s a robust schedule of online music and art activities, individual care consultations, or meaningful support groups, NOTHING STOPS US FROM KEEPING HELP AND HOPE IN MIND!

We understand there is a heavy emotional cost to Alzheimer’s and dementia. That is why it remains a source of pride to offer our services and programs free of charge. We would like to keep it that way. Still, finances are a practical reality and there’s an economic cost we must deal with as well. As a non-profit organization, ADRC has been hard hit by this yearlong health crisis. We have made extraordinary efforts to be there for everyone who counts on us. Now we need to count on you. Your tax-deductible donation of $100, $75, $50, or $35 is especially important at this critical time. Any amount you’re able to contribute is truly appreciated. Helping a little, helps a lot.

The pandemic’s far-reaching effects go beyond healthcare. The economy is severely impacted, too. ADRC is facing these challenges and responding with characteristic determination and dedication. Your gift will provide our worthwhile organization with welcome relief. You can also opt to make a monthly donation. Please consider it. The continuity will bring added assistance for our 2021 initiatives. We plan to expand our outreach to family caregivers and other members of the caregiving community. By supporting us whatever way you can, you will accomplish what is most essential. You become our partner in KEEPING HELP AND HOPE IN MIND! First and foremost, we are a community of local people. We are here to serve your family, your friends, and your neighbors. It will benefit everyone on this long journey if you GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE. They need us and we need you. I urge you to give now.

Thank you for your support,
Robin Marks, Executive Director/CEO
