This support group is hosted by NYU Langone Geriatric Medicine. ADRC’s support groups, led by trained facilitators, provide caregivers with the opportunity to discuss the many challenges of caring for a family member living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, with others who understand. Our goal is to provide a safe setting which promotes mutual support, both practical and emotional, throughout the progression of the disease.
Some of ADRC’s support groups meet in-person while others meet via Zoom. We have general groups for all care partners and specialized groups, including adult children, spouses, spouses whose partner is living in a community residence and early stage care partners.
