CE Event for SW - Dementia Workshop

This workshop is a partnership between Senior Health Care Companions and ADRC Carol Hartmann. The workshop will introduce the symptoms and changes associated with all forms of dementia. Alzheimer’s disease symptoms. Topics include the different stages of Alzheimer’s disease and the techniques for effective communication. Content comes from the Modular Educational Program of the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) and is offered as a micro-credential towards the 8-hour Dementia Capable Certification.
