Please join us as we present a workshop on some of the latest real-life techniques to help improve the health and well-being of those affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia. This event is sponsored by Stand Up MRI. We thank them for their support.
Topics discussed will include practical techniques and routines that you can start right away to improve cognitive function and reduce stress in Alzheimer’s patients, as well as educate the caregivers on how to best cope with the challenges facing caring for someone with dementia related issues.
Also discussed will be the importance of physical fitness, and how the brain and the body are interdependent upon one another. We will offer easy-to-perform exercise techniques that can be done in the comfort of your home that focus on improving balance, mobility, and overall function.
Finally, we will discuss some of the latest research in mind-body medicine to highlight the importance of Nutrition as it pertains to overall health and cognitive functioning. This will include a review of the diet plans and supplements that allow the body’s innate healing power to manifest to the highest degree.
Dinner & Refreshments will be served as Social Workers will earn 2 CEU.
