featuring the NY Hot Jazz All-Stars
New York’s top hot jazz musicians unite for a high-spirited celebration of the Jazz Age, diving into the vibrant sounds of the 1920s and ’30s. Hosted by Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Justin Poindexter (guitar), this dynamic program traces the wild rise of jazz as it swept from New Orleans to Chicago and New York. Audiences will enjoy masterworks by Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, and iconic hits made famous by Louis Armstrong. The all-star ensemble features trumpeter Bria Skonberg, clarinetist Dennis Lichtman, trombonist Ron Wilkins, pianist Conal Fowkes, bassist Tal Ronen, and drummer Alex Raderman.
