Volunteer

Our volunteers are valued and vital to achieving our mission: to provide care, support, and education programs for families in need, and to be advocates for local families coping with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.

We’re delighted to work with people who want to make a real difference for Long Island families. ADRC offers many diverse opportunities for you to contribute your time and talents to help others.

Meet ADRC Volunteer, Margaret Homayoon

Margaret has been volunteering with ADRC for many years. She attends both Art and Music therapy programs and assists with helping families get settled and have the supplies needed to enjoy the program. Margaret also assists with office support tasks that are vital to keeping our programs running smoothly. We are so grateful for volunteers like Margaret.

ADRC Program Volunteer, Kathleen McBeth

Kathleen has been volunteering at ADRC for over a year now – attending Memory Cafes, Art and Music therapy programs, and supporting our Art Expressions Program. Kathleen always jumps right in with a cheerful smile and we all appreciate her.
