ADRC plays an important role in educating Long Island’s caregivers. Both professional caregivers who work in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, and individual family members who have a loved one with Alzheimer’s, benefit from increased knowledge and practical training exercises.

ADRC will be hosting free educational workshops onsite at 200 Carleton Avenue. Workshops will be 1 hour panel discussions on topics important to caregivers, families, and professionals. Dates and topics can be found on here. We take requests: so if you would like more information on a certain topic/issue reach out to us to let us know.
